The teachers listed on this page fall under two categories. The first group are recently certified teachers who have demonstrated excellence in their teacher preparation programs, who have demonstrated interest in international education through study abroad or student teaching abroad, and who have shown skills and dispositions suitable for living abroad as communicated by those who know their work. These attributes would be measured by a 3.25+ GPA, a course or semester abroad, or courses on campus with an international focus. Once they meet all of these criteria, they will be listed on this blog for international school consideration.
The second group of teachers are those you have had two years of successful classroom teachers either in public, private or international schools. They will show evidence of this successful experience by providing a letter of recommendation from their supervisor and by providing another person's contact information who would recommend them for teaching and living abroad. Once they provide this information their name and contact information will appear on this blog for international school consideration.
All teachers who wish to be included on this page must provide an e-mail contact and, preferably, either a webpage address with professional work included, a blog address or a way to access an electronic portfolio for schools to learn more about you. If you provide only an e-mail address, you should have electronic documents available to forward on to schools.
